I love my seniors and I am up for most anything. Christa is one of my reps this year for South Albany High school and I love it when my reps are willing to help me bring one of my ideas to life. Senior sessions should be about you and your personality.

Colorado Sunrise, Photography Awesomesauce Conference 2014 Session 1

In June I was blessed with the opportunity to attend the Photography Awesomesauce Conference hosted my Carrie Swails. I was so excited. I flew in Sunday and Monday morning bright at early we found ourselves in downtown Denver with this wonderful couple. I have been inspired and hope to do my own styled shoot soon. This is one in a series of posts. We had five shoots while we were there.

Lifestyle - Black and White

I love my opportunities to work with babies. Mine are growing so fast and I know first hand that they are little for such a short time. My baby will turn three this summer. 

I had the honor of photography this couple's wedding back in 2012. It was a turning point for me and weddings. Who can resist a wedding on the beach. 

So I couldn't resist photographing their six month old. He is such a cutie. I do not usually do black and white but was looking for a more lifestyle look. I loved how these turned out. 

Class of 2015 Senior Rep: Averi

I had so much fun with my Class of 2014 Senior Reps I decided to do it again. I love my Senior Reps and get to work with them through out the year. It is something I truly look forward to.

This is Averi. Currently a Junior, she loves working at summer camp and has a very eclectic taste in music. She enjoys reading, volunteering and hanging out with her friends and family.

This session had us at the beautiful Silver Creek State Park. This is a place that I believe everyone should visit at least once in their life and wished the weather had held out so we could have stayed longer. Oregon is Oregon and you have to take advantage of the time between sprinkles and showers sometimes and make the best of it. This time of year it is still a bit chili but it is always breathtaking there. Averi was a trooper, yellow rain boots and all.
