Happy 2nd Birthday

I have had the pleasure of photographing these girls since they were born. They are turning two and it was time to celebrate. Their mom and I had planned a cake smash but mom wanted to try another idea. I am always game and will try most things at least once. The girls had a blast. After the paint they had cake. It was a day of messes.

So for this challenge I will probably try again when it's not so wintery as I was hoping for a little more light but happy with the results. These were taken out in the front of my house. We have gotten more than a foot of snow.

I had a couple of ideas on how I was going to execute this challenge. The first one I did, did not turn out well at all. I was discouraged but tried again with something else and am very happy with the results. I don't get to play with my dolls much.

Week 11: Free Lensing

This week the challenge was free lensing. I had an idea of what I wanted but was surprised with the results.

This was the result taking the lens off the camera. It took work moving things around to get anything in focus but love the results.
